PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol foam molding which can be produced at a low cost and is easy to handle in mass production by having sufficient surface strength immediately after molding, and a method of producing the same. ! SOLUTION: The phenol foam molding according to the present invention has a surface film on at least one surface, and the area ratio of the surface film in the surface is 20-95%. The phenol foam molding is produced through the following steps (a)-(c): (a) a step of bringing a cloth material formed of a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric and having releasability into contact with a foamable phenol resin precursor composition; (b) a step of foaming and curing the foamable phenol resin precursor composition to form a phenol foam; and (c) a step of peeling the cloth material from the phenol foam. !
