[Problem] To provide an optical product or the like which exhibits higher reflection-prevention performance in a visible-light region, lower transmissivity of near-infrared light, lower cost, and higher durability. [Solution] An optical product having, on one or both surfaces of a substrate, an optical multilayer film having a seven-layered structure obtained by alternatingly layering a low-refractive-index layer and a high-refractive-index layer, wherein: the low-refractive-index layer is formed by using SiO2; the high-refractive-index layer is formed by using a material for which the refractive index of light having a wavelength of 500nm is 2.145 or higher; given that the layer nearest the substrate is the first layer, the physical film thickness of the fifth layer, which is one of the low-refractive-index layers, is 145-165nm, inclusive; and the sum of the optical film thicknesses (λ=500nm) of the fourth through sixth layers is 1.3-1.5λ, inclusive. |
