The present invention provides: a composition for an oral cavity that is characterized by having an improved oxidative stress inhibition effect of an ascorbic acid phosphate ester or salt thereof, having an excellent effect of inhibiting injury of biological tissue such as the gingiva due to oxidative stress, and comprising (A) an ascorbic acid phosphate ester or salt thereof and (B) a cyclodextrin; and an oxidative stress inhibitor for an oral cavity that comprises the abovementioned component (A) and component (B).
