Method for protecting angular industrial packages (1), such as packages of sawn timber, with a film-type wrap (5). The invention is implemented in such a way that on the vertical corners of the package (1) the portions of the wrap (5) coming from the side of two adjacent essentially planar sides are fixed to each other when they are on top of the load and the excess fold being produced in it is cut off. The object of the invention is also an apparatus for implementing the method, as well as a covering for protecting the package (1). |
