An elevator device has an additional connection device mounted on the car, the additional connection device connecting a pull-up lever shaft (9) and a governor rope (12). The additional connection device is provided with: an additional connection device frame (15) mounted on the car; a horizontal additional extension shaft (16) rotatably held on an extension line extending from the pull-up lever shaft by the additional connection device frame; a pull-up lever connector (17) for connecting a first end of the additional extension shaft to the pull-up lever shaft and causing the additional extension shaft to rotate together with the pull-up lever shaft; an additional lever (18) connected to a second end of the additional extension shaft and rotating together with the additional extension shaft; and a governor rope connector (19) for connecting the additional lever to the governor rope.
