Stevia plant has a sweet material, called stevioside. The sweet ingredient has 200 to 300 times more sweetness than sugar. According to the present invention, a method for extracting honeydew having 200 to 300 times more sweetness than sugar in a leaf and a stem of the stevia plant comprises the steps of: collecting the leaf and the stem of the stevia plant, washing the leaf and the stem several times with drinking water to remove an impurity; and extracting the honeydew of the stevia plant with high pressure and high temperature of steam naturally produced by the high temperature when putting the washed stevia plant into an extractor with a proper ratio and heating the plant at high temperature. By producing the clean honeydew of the stevia plant which is extracted by filtering the stevia plant in a filter, putting the honeydew in a vinyl bag or a bottle, and sealing the vinyl bag or the bottle to store the same for a long period, the honeydew of the present invention enables to feel a sweet taste of food in case of adding the honeydew into various food as necessary. |
