Disclosed are a user authentication method using touch drag and an apparatus therefor. More particularly, the user authentication method using touch drag attribute information of a user, in accordance with the present invention comprises the steps of: extracting touch drag attribute information of a user for a terminal from a touch drag input of the user for the terminal when receiving the touch drag input of the user for the terminal; storing the extracted touch drag attribute information of the user for the terminal; determining a reference to distinguish a touch drag input of the user for the terminal from that of another person by performing machine learning based on the stored touch drag attribute information of the user for the terminal and pre-stored touch drag attribute information of another person; authenticating the user for the terminal by determining whether a touch drag input inputted into the terminal is the touch drag input of the user for the terminal based on the determined reference.
