The present invention relates to a safety foothold for a pallet and to an extended pallet including the same. The safety foothold can be provided as multiple units to the side part of the loading plate of a pallet and comprises: a foothold plate; a supporting bar having one end hinged to the foothold plate; and a base including a space for accommodating the supporting bar inside and including a guide hole for introducing and withdrawing the supporting bar on a side surface. The supporting bar slides on the foothold plate and is guided through the guide hole to be withdrawn to the outside or be accommodated in the accommodating space. The base can be provided with a step from the upper surface of the loading plate and can constitute part of the loading plate. A truss assembly can be selectively included below the loading plate. The pallet including a safety foothold according to the present invention can maximally ensure the loading capacity of the pallet by allocating the full length or full width of the pallet with a predetermined size to a cargo loading region while simultaneously improving on-site workability and stability.
