摘要 <p>A scanning system (2) for treating target tissue in a patient's eye (68), the scanning system comprising: an ultrafast laser source (4) configured to generate a laser beam (6) comprising a plurality of laser pulses; an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging device (100) configured to generate signals that can be used to create an image of a limbus and a sclera of the patient's eye; a delivery system for focusing and delivering the laser beam (6) to the target tissue; a scanner (40, 50) configured to direct the laser beam within the limbus and/or the sclera; and a controller (300) operatively coupled to the laser source and the scanner; wherein the OCT device is configured to scan the limbus and the sclera to generate imaging data for at least one of the limbus and the sclera, the imaging data capable of being used to form an incision pattern used to incise one or more relaxation incisions into at least one of the limbus and the sclera; wherein the controller is configured to control the scanner to scan the laser beam in the incision pattern so that the laser beam incises the one or more relaxation incisions; and wherein at least one of the one or more relaxation incisions is a partially penetrating incision that leaves an un-incised tissue thickness.</p>
