<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which improves operability in remote control operation while saving power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus capable of photographing processing and reproduction processing by remote control operation can be switched between a remote control reception standby mode in which a remote control signal can be received and a remote control reception non-standby mode in which the remote control signal is not received. When it is detected that the imaging apparatus is connected with an external display device in a communicable manner, the imaging apparatus is set into the remote control reception standby mode. The imaging apparatus set into the remote control reception standby mode is capable of remote control photographing processing and remote-controlled regeneration processing when receiving the remote-controlled signal from outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
