The present utility modeldiscloses an instant congee made of dried rice which may be readily rehydrated to the original state and prepared to be served merely by adding hot water. The instant congee comprises rice, salt, sugar, flavor enhancer, refined oil, pepper, artificial flavor powder, vitamins and food colorings.
