Provided is a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is capable of suppressing increase in DCR even in cases where the battery is stored at high temperatures. After assembling a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having a structure wherein a battery element provided with a positive electrode (11), a negative electrode (12) and a nonaqueous electrolyte (14) containing vinylene carbonate and an oxalato complex salt is contained in a packaging material (20) and a part of a positive electrode terminal (16a) electrically connected to the positive electrode and a part of a negative electrode terminal (16b) electrically connected to the negative electrode are led out from the packaging material, the nonaqueous electrolyte battery is subjected to an aging process wherein the nonaqueous electrolyte battery is kept in a temperature atmosphere of 40-60°C for 60-336 hours. At least one of lithium difluorobis(oxalato)phosphate, lithium difluorooxalatoborate and lithium tetrafluorooxalatophosphate is used as the oxalato complex salt. A nonaqueous solvent containing ethylene carbonate, which is a cyclic carbonate, and ethylmethyl carbonate, which is a chain carbonate, is used as a nonaqueous solvent that constitutes the nonaqueous electrolyte. |
