Therefore, when bending moment is applied to the metal tube W with a bending device 15, not only the generation of the wrinkles is prevented by suppressing the outward deformation of the outer periphery of the metal tube W by guiding the outer periphery of the metal tube W by the outer peripheral guiding surface go of the guiding member 18, but also the accuracy of the bending work is improved by specifying the bend point of the metal tube W at the exit of the guiding member 19. Furthermore, because the water from the cooling device 14 is prevented from splashing to the heating device 12 by intercepting the water with the guide device 13, the cooling device 14 is approachable to the guide device 13.
