PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that attains both reduction in electric power loss and high saturated magnetic flux density in an environment of high frequency and low magnetic field in which the in-use temperature or environmental temperature is close to room temperature or air temperature, and a ferrite composition suitable to the electronic component.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the ferrite composition which consists principally of FeO, ZnO, and MnO, and includes 50-300 ppm SiOand 110-1120 ppm CaO as accessory components to 100 wt.% of the principal component, Tsp, X, and Z satisfying (1) Tsp=21.6(X+0.52Z)-1520 and (2) X≥58.0, where the minimum temperature Tsp of magnetic loss of the ferrite composition is within a range of 31-39°C, and the principal component contains X mol% FeO, Z mol% ZnO, and the balance of manganese oxide. |
