<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially orientated laminated film which is excellent in dimensional stability and surface smoothness and is suitable for a magnetic recording medium, particularly a base film such as a digital data storage. <P>SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented film includes a film layer (I) comprising an aromatic polyester composition (B) containing maleic anhydride-copolymerized polystyrene (A), wherein the rate of a maleic anhydride unit to the maleic anhydride-copolymerized polystyrene (A) is in a range of 15 to 30 mol% based on the number of moles of the repeating unit of the maleic anhydride-copolymerized polystyrene (A); and the rate of the maleic anhydride-copolymerized polystyrene (A) is in a range of 1 to 10 mass% based on the mass of the aromatic polyester composition (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
