<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square silica vessel for manufacturing a polycrystalline silicon ingot extremely inexpensively, excellent in mold releasability, capable of suppressing impurity contamination into silicon melt and a polycrystalline silicon ingot. <P>SOLUTION: In this square silica vessel for manufacturing a polycrystalline silicon ingot by solidifying silicon melt, which is constituted by combining parallel planar porous silica plates comprising porous silica, a mold release accelerator for accelerating mold release of the polycrystalline silicon ingot is included in at least a part of an inside surface part, and a bulk density of the porous silica plates is lower at an inner part than surface parts of both parallel planes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
