<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact dust collection cover without reducing dust collection efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This dust collection adaptor 20 is attached to a grinding machine body 11. The dust collection adaptor 20 includes a dust collection cover 22 with a cover body part 22a and a cylindrical cover part 26 arranged on the opening surface of the cover body part, and a dustproof ring 31. The dustproof ring 31 is attached on the outside of the dust collection cover 22 so as to freely move forward/backward in the axial direction of an output shaft 12.
