<p>An electrical plug 23 comprising a body 3; a pin interface 11 projecting from the plug body (3), the pin interface comprising a plurality of electrical pins configured and arranged to be plugged into a mains electrical socket outlet; an appliance interface 5, a store for electrical energy 25 provided within the plug body 3, the internal store being operable to store power drawn from said socket via said pin interface and to supply power to an appliance via said appliance interface; and a controller provided within said plug body, the controller being operable to control said storage. The controller may be dependent upon whether the pin interface is plugged into a socket and whether the appliance interface is connected to an appliance. The appliance interface may be a USB port, wireless transfer interface, inductive transfer interface or a wifi repeater.</p> |
