<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forgery prevention printed matter, having a forgery prevention technology that has not been proposed in the past and involving no problems in manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: The forgery prevention printed matter 1 comprises at least a layer 3 containing a material that emits light by stress and a layer 4 containing a material that discolors by heat, wherein layers 3 and 4 are formed one on the other, on one side of a base material 2. Thus, the forgery prevention printed matter discolors in the layer containing the material that discolors by heat, by applying energy resulting from a temperature change, and emits light in the layer containing the material that emits light by stress, by applying energy resulting from stress. As a result, the discoloration of the heat discoloration material and the light emission of the stress light emission material occur simultaneously. Accordingly, forgery prevention properties are remarkably improved than before.
