<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow pipe which enables inspection of a welded portion of cooling water channel with ease and can reduce the time for welding a tip hardware to the body of the blow pipe, in the water cooling type blow pipe to be used for blowing hot air from a tuyere of a blast furnace. <P>SOLUTION: A circumferential groove 14 is formed on the tip hardware 1 of the blow pipe, and then the tip hardware 1 of the blow pipe is covered with a conical shaped cylinder 2 from outside and fixed by welding (weld portions 13a, 13b), thereby a water channel 14 is formed so that cooling water can flow inside for water-cooling. Furthermore, at the weld portion 13c between the tip hardware 1 of the blow pipe and the body 4 of the blow pipe, a jaw part 3, which is integrated with the tip hardware 1 of the blow pipe, is provided on the side of the tip hardware 1 of the blow pipe.
