A hydraulic control system (116) comprises a closed loop hydraulic circuit (164) including at least one hydraulic motor (130). A plurality of variable displacement pumps (140A, 140B) are fluidly connected in parallel in the closed loop hydraulic circuit (164). A pilot valve assembly (143) is configured to supply the hydraulic actuators (142A, 142B) with hydraulic fluid having a pilot pressure corresponding to a desired displacement of the variable displacement pumps (140A, 140B). A pressure regulating device (146) is configured to limit the pilot pressure of the hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulic actuates (142A, 142B) when a working pressure in the closed loop hydraulic circuit (164) reaches a maximum allowable working pressure. |
