<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which has high luminous efficiency and a long service life, a lighting device, and a display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element, an organic layer composed of one or a plurality of layers including at least a light-emitting layer is held between an anode and a cathode.
