<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle capable of restraining one part of vibrations in a peripheral direction of an electric motor housing case and a coupling flange of a case. <P>SOLUTION: A coupling flange 38b of a first case 38 has a weight-increasing part 70 locally projecting toward an outer periphery from a portion including a center position C of a first distance P1 between a pair of fastening bolts 66 positioned on both sides of a terminal board 60 in a circumferential direction and penetrating through the coupling flange 38b, when seen in a direction orthogonal to a mating face 44. In this manner, even if one part of an electric motor housing case 38a and the coupling flange 38b in the circumferential direction between a pair of the fastening bolts 66 positioned on both circumferential sides of the terminal board 60 is formed comparatively long and flat, when a center portion at the circumferential portion, i.e., one part in the circumferential direction vibrates in a radial direction, a mass of a portion that serves as a peak of resonance is increased.
