<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement in engine output and time responsiveness during low-speed-rotation operation of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: An engine supercharger includes: a turbo 2 with an electric motor 2M; a high-pressure EGR passage 23 communicating an exhaust passage 4 of an engine 1 on the upper-stream side than a turbine 2T of the turbo 2 with an intake passage 3 of the engine 1 on the further downstream side than a compressor 2C of the turbo 2; a high-pressure EGR valve 25 arranged in the high-pressure EGR passage 23; a low-pressure EGR passage 26 communicating the exhaust passage 4 on the further downstream side than the turbine 2T with the intake passage 3 on the upper-stream side than the compressor 2C; a low-pressure EGR valve 27 arranged in the low-pressure EGR passage 26; operating-state detecting means 9, 10 for detecting the operating state of the engine 1; and a control means 7. When detecting the low-speed-rotation operating state of the engine 1 by the operating-state detecting means 9, 10, the control means 7 closes the high-pressure EGR valve 25 and opens the low-pressure EGR valve 27, and also, drives the electric motor 2M in order to increase the rotational frequency of the turbo 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
