<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label making device which prevents a label from returning into a body of a label making device from an ejection port thereof due to static electricity. <P>SOLUTION: Grooves 32 are formed on a left inner wall 311 and a right inner wall 312 which constitute the ejection port 11 of the label making device. When the label 57 cut off from a printed tape by a cutting mechanism 15 is charged with an electric charge, the label 57 ejected from the ejection port 11 by an ejection mechanism 22 is liable to return into the body 2 through the ejection port 11 by an electrostatic force. However, since the grooves 32 are formed on inner walls 31, a trailing edge 58 of the label 57 that is liable to get into the ejection port 11 is caught by the grooves 32. Since the ejected label 57 is prevented from returning into the body 2, the label 57 ejected once is prevented from getting jammed in the ejection port 11 or being cut again by the cutting mechanism 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
