Provided is a resin composition that is suitable for use in producing a film or sheet having high tear strength and is excellent in processability, mechanical properties, and biodegradability. The resin composition is a biodegradable polyester resin composition containing an aliphatic polyester (P3HA) having a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1)
