The present invention relates to a method for encoding video and method for decoding video by each spatial subdivision. Disclosed in the present invention is a method for encoding video by each spatial subdivision, which comprises the steps of: dividing a picture into two or more tiles and at least one slice segment; individually encoding the same with other tiles for each tile; and encoding maximum encoding units included in a current tile among maximum encoding units included in a current slice segment for each slice segment included in the current tile.
