The disclosed technology relates to a radiation imaging system and a method for tracking the position of a radiation source, capable of tracking the position of the radiation source in a radiation operation. Provided is the radiation imaging system tracking the position of the radiation source emitted to a patient in a radiation treatment which includes a detection unit which detects the radiation source radiated from a radiation source controller and an image output unit which outputs the position of the radiation source detected in the detection unit. Also, provided is the method for tracking the position of the radiation source radiated to the patient in the radiation treatment which includes a detection step of detecting the radiation source radiated from the radiation source controller and an image output step of outputting the position of the radiation source detected in the detection step.
