<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic honeycomb structure capable of manufacturing a ceramic honeycomb structure excellent in terms of squareness.SOLUTION: Contours C1, C2, C3, and C4 of portions of a dried ceramic honeycomb 50 on the surface of the outer wall 63 thereof supported respectively by a first mobile cradle 68a and a second mobile cradle 68b and by a third mobile cradle 68c and a fourth mobile cradle 68d are measured. A finishing work is performed following the mobilization of the first mobile cradle 68a of a first receiver 69a over a distance corresponding to the contour C1, the mobilization of the second mobile cradle 68b of the first receiver 69a over a distance corresponding to the contour C2, the mobilization of the third mobile cradle 68c of a second receiver 69b over a distance corresponding to the contour C3, and the mobilization of the fourth mobile cradle 68d of the second receiver 69b over a distance corresponding to the contour C4.</p> |
