<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly guide a recording material before transfer toward a transfer position to perform transfer, while securing transferability of the recording medium after transfer. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer device includes: a belt member 4; a transfer member 5 arranged in a transfer position TP; a post-transfer conveyance part AT composed of a part of the belt member 4 between a downstream stretching member 6 located downstream the transfer position TP and the transfer position TP, and arranged on a side different from an image carrier 1 with respect to an extension surface along the attitude of a recording material P to enter the transfer position TP; and a pre-transfer conveyance part BT composed of a part of the belt member 4 between an upstream stretching member 7 located upstream the transfer position TP and the transfer position TP, arranged on a side different from the image carrier 1 with respect to an extension surface along the post-transfer conveyance part AT, in the shape of a chevron, arranged so that the tip of the recording material P entering the transfer position TP comes into contact with a surface before reaching the transfer position TP, and conveying the recording material P in contact with the surface toward the transfer position TP along the surface of the belt member 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
