Colorant compositions and production methods therefor

The present invention provides colorant concentrate compositions including; a natural oil-based carrier containing at least about thirty five percent by weight of the carrier including at least one natural oil; and at least about one percent by weight of the total concentrate including at least one salt; and at least one of at least one colorant and at least one additive. The colorants may be added to polymers, resins and plastics at let down ratios of 0.01 to 5 percent to form colored polymers, resins and plastics respectively. Also provided are methods for manufacturing the colorant concentrate compositions and colored polymers and plastics.
