摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wasteful energy consumption when an intake air amount and an EGR amount of an internal combustion engine are decreased on the basis of a decrease of a requirement output for the engine while suppressing the combustion deterioration of an air-fuel mixture in a combustion chamber caused by a response delay of the decrease of the EGR amount.SOLUTION: When the requirement output for the internal combustion engine 1 is decreased, when the decrement of the requirement output is equal to or larger than a determined value, or when a charge of a battery is equal to or larger than a determined level, a throttle valve 29 is controlled by abrupt change processing instead of the control of the throttle valve 29 by means of gradual change processing. In the abrupt change processing, the throttle valve 29 is changed to a closed side so that the decrease of the intake air amount of the internal combustion engine 1 is carried out more quickly than that using the gradual change processing.
