<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device improving fault detection accuracy in PM regeneration of a DPF. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 50 adjusts fuel addition amounts of fuel injection valves 12a, 12b so that temperatures of DPFs 14a, 14b are target regeneration temperatures during PM regeneration of the DPFs 14a, 14b, measures PM regeneration times from the PM regeneration start of the DPFs 14a, 14b until the completion, detects a comparison value obtained by comparing the PM regeneration time of the DPF 14a with the PM regeneration time of the DPF 14b, and detects a comparison value obtained by comparing a fuel correction amount at the fuel injection valve 12a and a fuel correction amount at the fuel injection valve 12b adjusted in accordance with the temperatures of the DPFs 14a, 14b. Further, the ECU 50 uses at least one of the detected comparison value of the PM regeneration times and the detected comparison value of the fuel correction amounts to determine that the PM regeneration of the DPF 14a or 14b is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
