<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for fixing an optical film that easily distorts to another member, particularly a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape capable of suitably fixing members to each other and suppressing distortion in an optical film even when a water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive agent with reduced VOC (volatile organic compounds) is used. <P>SOLUTION: The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on both surfaces of a support, in which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to be stuck to an optical film comprises a water dispersion type acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The composition includes an acrylic copolymer containing 2-ethylhexylacrylate, a carboxyl group-containing monomer and a nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer as a monomer component, with 50 to 98 mass% content of the (meth)acrylate having alkyl groups having 4 to 8 carbon atoms, 1 to 10 mass% content of the carboxyl group-containing monomer and 0.1 to 5 mass% content of the nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer having an amide group. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a gel fraction of 10 to 50%.
