<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long plated member for a vehicle formed of from and low in strain. <P>SOLUTION: The plated member 1 for the vehicle has a long resin member and a plating layer formed on a surface of the resin member, and is installed at the vehicle. A groove 11 extended in a longitudinal direction of the plated member 1 for the vehicle is formed at an installation face 10 of the plated member 1 for the vehicle.
