摘要 The respective temperature (T) is determined for strip portions (6) of a strip (1) prior to the roll stand (2) of the rolling train. The predicted temperature (T') of the strip portions is determined at the time of rolling of the respective strip portion projected in the roll stand, through a strip model (8), based on the determined temperature. The current value of the optimized control variable curve which corresponds to the control parameter (P) for rolling of strip portions, is set as a control variable of the actuating device (10). The respective temperature is determined for strip portions of a strip prior to the roll stand of the rolling train. The predicted temperature of the strip portions is determined at the time of the rolling of the respective strip portion projected in the roll stand, through a strip model, based on the determined temperature. By using the predicted temperature of the strip portions, a respective control parameter for the rolling of the strip portions in the roll stand is determined. One of the rolling stands acting as actuating device is controlled during the rolling of the respective strip portion, based on the determined control parameter. The forecast horizon (PH1) of several corresponding to-be-rolled strip sections is predicted, as a control variable curve for the actuating device. By using the control variable curve, the profile of a working roll (9) of the roll stand formed by the nip is influenced. A respective roll gap profile is predicted for the working roll at the time of rolling of the respective strip portion, using the mill model for the roll stand, predicted temperature of the strip portions and the control variable curve corresponding to the prediction horizon of strip portions. By using the control variable curve and the predicted temperature for the strip sections, the roll gap profile and the respective reference profile are optimized. The current value of the optimized control variable curve which corresponds to the control parameter is set as a control variable of the actuating device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer program for controlling rolling mill; (2) control computer for rolling mill; and (3) rolling mill for rolling a strip.
