[Also in Group XXVIII] In a joint for parts subjected to different thermal expansions and comprising flanges 1, 2 connected by studs 4 and nuts 5, the studs pass with clearance through the flange 2 and through a ring 3 arranged between the flange 2 and the nuts, and anti-friction surfaces constituted, e.g., by washers 6, 7, are interposed between the flange 2 and the ring 3, the latter being made of the same material as the flange 1 and having a skirt portion which loosely envelops the flange 2 and engagingly overlaps the flange 1. The studs, nuts and the flange 2 are made of the same material. The flange 2 is guided in its radial expansion by at least three keys 9 which fit corresponding, registering apertures in the flanges.
