<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for efficiently printing out an electronic document stored on a crowd in a document output system including a plurality of image forming apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A print management device 50 downloads the data of an electronic document Da from a crowd server 90 in response to an output request from an image forming apparatus 10a as a request source among the plurality of image forming apparatuses 10 (step S12). The print management device 50 determines the cache destination of the data of the electronic document Da from among a plurality of candidate devices including the print management device and the plurality of image forming apparatuses on the basis of information for specifying printout destination relating to the electronic document Da (step S17). Then, the data downloaded from the crowd server 90 are stored in the cache destination as cache data (step S18).
