<p>A wireless communication device 100 is a device which performs wireless communication. The wireless communication device 100 includes a plurality of antennas 101a, 101b, ··· provided at different positions; and an antenna selection section (antenna selection means) 102 which acquires holding position specifying information for specifying a holding position which is a position where a user holds the wireless communication device 100, and from among the plurality of antennas 101a, 101b, ···, selects an antenna provided at a position which is different from the holding position specified by the acquired holding position specifying information.
