<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding gate door having improved operability. <P>SOLUTION: Two parallel rails 3 are laid on the floor of a doorway 2. A slidable sliding door 4 has a plurality of wheels 10 which can be rolled along the rails 3 at the bottom. The door end side of the sliding door 4 is provided with handles 12a and 12b for slide operation of the sliding door 4 and a sliding door lock 20 for locking the sliding door 4 at the closing position. The handles 12a and 12b are provided with an oscillating gripper 15. An interlocking mechanism 40 for unlocking the sliding door lock 20 in a manner interlocked with the oscillation caused by gripping of the gripper 15 is provided such that the succession of operations of unlocking the sliding door 20 and opening the sliding door 4 can be continuously performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
