<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible hose including a soft junction for enabling easy and reliable coupling with another member, the hose being efficiently manufactured with high quality. <P>SOLUTION: The flexible hose 1 includes a flexible hose wall 11 and a spiral reinforcing body 12. In a hose central portion (a) except for a hose end of the flexible hose, a spiral reinforcing body 12a is provided to form a first cross-sectional shape protruding outward from the flexible hose wall 11, while in at least a hose one end b of the flexible hose, a spiral reinforcing body 12b is provided to form a second cross-sectional shape. The second cross-sectional shape is lower in the radial direction of the hose than the first cross-sectional shape, and a shape of a portion where a hose inner circumferential portion of the spiral reinforcing body is joined to the hose wall is substantially the same in the first and second cross-sectional shapes.
