<p>According to the present application, a power supply device for arc welding (30) includes a constrained short-circuit opening unit (34) and a reexecuting unit (37). The constrained short-circuit opening unit (34) reduces, when a change amount of a welding voltage becomes not less than a predetermined threshold while raising a welding current between a consumable electrode and a workpiece (W), the welding current for a predetermined time interval to execute a constrained short-circuit opening process for opening the short-circuit state. The reexecuting unit (37) makes the constrained short-circuit opening unit (34) reexecute the constrained short-circuit opening process after the constrained short-circuit opening process is executed.</p> |
