Disclosed is a power supply apparatus. The power supply device includes: an electric transformer including a first coil and a second coil; a detection part detects at least one from an output voltage and an output current of the power supply apparatus; a PWM control part for PWM switching to selectively supply a voltage to the first coil based on the detected output voltage and the output current; and an adjustment part which stops the PWM switching action of the PWM control part if at least one from the detected output voltage and the output current is greater than or equal to a preset value and continuously maintains the stopped state of the PWM switching action.
