<p>The blade 40 is rectangular with a major portion 50, a minor portion 150 which is pivotally connected to the major portion to allow the blade to be arranged in an unfolded for position working or folded position for transportation. The blade also has a tilt connector 25, sliding coupling means 100 and pivot connection130 on itâ s rear. The face of the blade has cut-outs 87 which allow the arms 160, 161 of the minor portion 150 to pivot or fold with respect to the major portion 50 . So as to comply with transport regulations the blade is also tilted about an Z axis, angled about a Y axis or lifted and pitched about the X axis to ensure the outside ends of the blade 59, 158 do not extend beyond the tracks 14. This is achieved by removing various retaining pins such as 81, and extending or retracting hydraulic struts 31, 32.</p> |
