<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially retrieve the image data which a user wants to view without requiring a complicated operation. <P>SOLUTION: An object identification unit 108 identifies an object selected by a user. A feature extraction unit 109 extracts the feature of the object identified by the object identification unit 108.
