The use of 1-adamantylethyloxy-3-morpholino-2-propanol or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in pharmaceutical compositions as a neuroretinoprotector within the concentration range of 3-100 mg/ml for treatment of neuroretinodegenerative diseases of various geneses.
