The outer peripheral surface of an axle housing has a first outer peripheral surface, a second outer peripheral surface, and a stepped section. The first outer peripheral surface supports a first bearing. The second outer peripheral surface has a smaller outer diameter than the first outer peripheral surface. The stepped section is located between the first outer peripheral surface and the second outer peripheral surface. The axle housing has splines and a clearance groove. The splines are provided on the second outer peripheral surface and extend axially on the outer peripheral surface of the axle housing. The clearance groove extends circumferentially on the second outer peripheral surface of the axle housing and is disposed axially between the stepped section and the splines. A ring gear hub is connected to the axle housing through the splines. A second stationary member is fitted in the clearance groove. The outer peripheral surface of the second stationary member is located on the outside radially of the inner peripheral surface of the first bearing. |
