PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device with a wider view angle.SOLUTION: A display device for displaying an image toward a plurality of view positions includes: a display panel for displaying the image; a backlight unit for irradiating a rear surface of the display panel with parallel light beams; a plurality of Fresnel prisms that are provided respectively corresponding to the plurality of view positions on an optical path between the backlight unit and the display panel and deflects the parallel light beams in directions of their corresponding view positions; a plurality of shutter units that are provided respectively corresponding to the plurality of Fresnel prisms on the optical path between the backlight unit and the display panel; and an optical unit that collects the light beams passing through the plurality of Fresnel prisms to the view positions respectively corresponding to the Fresnel prisms. |
