PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a power generating element without causing winding slippage using curved belt-like electrode plates.SOLUTION: A battery comprises a coiled type power generating element composed of a belt-like positive electrode plate and a belt-like negative electrode plate each having a mixture layer on a surface of a collector and coiled via a separator. In the battery, a belt-like collector of each of the belt-like positive electrode plate and the belt-like negative electrode plate comprises a mixture layer non-coated portion at one end in a width direction, and curvature rate in a lengthwise direction of the belt-like collector is 0.4 to 2.5 mm/m. The power generating element is formed so that the mixture layer non-coated portion of the belt-like positive electrode plate and the mixture layer non-coated portion of the belt-like negative electrode plate are coiled to be mutually protruded from opposite sides. |
