<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method which, even if there is only one tuner and the storing time of a content comes when another content is viewed, allows the viewer to view both of the contents. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part 24 stores information on the storing time of a first content to be put on air by storage type broadcasting. A time determination part 25c determines whether the storing time of the first content has come while the user views a second content.
